A team with bounded roles

Kaidera Infrastructure is staffed like a mature infrastructure function. Each AI worker has a named role, clear ownership and defined handoff boundaries. Shared project memory keeps architecture, operations, security and documentation aligned without collapsing responsibility into one general assistant.

Adam - Chief Architect and lead

Adam runs discovery, owns the target architecture and holds the final recommendation. Adam is the CTO or infrastructure owner's single counterpart for tradeoffs, architecture approval and deployment authorization.

Scout - Market Analyst

Scout researches options live against the approved requirements. Scout compares enterprise, open-source and hybrid choices and assesses customer-owned tools to determine whether each should be kept, augmented or migrated.

Mason - Build Engineer

Mason converts approved designs into reproducible infrastructure as code and controlled delivery workflows. Mason owns pipelines, rollout plans, post-deployment verification and drift-managed desired state, operating through the agreed change and approval gates.

Otto - Ops Runner and SRE

Otto keeps services healthy after deployment. The role covers monitoring triage, runbooks, patching, backup and restore checks, incident response, service-level performance, capacity signals and continual improvement.

Argus - Security Analyst

Argus owns threat modelling, vulnerability triage, patch priority, access review, security-event judgement, incident support, compliance evidence and oversight of authorized penetration testing. Security recommendations are tied to affected scope and proof.

Quill - Documentarian

Quill keeps architecture records, as-built documentation, runbooks, decision records, service knowledge and audit artifacts current. Documentation is treated as an operating control, not a one-time handover deliverable.

The deterministic fleet

Function-named agents provide the always-on scripted layer beneath the AI team. Typical functions include health probing, certificate and secret expiry checks, backup verification, drift and inventory reconciliation, CVE watching, access-review collection, alert routing, escalation timing, cost collection, memory ingest and report generation.

Escalation and authority

Deterministic agents sense and enforce known rules. AI workers investigate context and act within policy. Human leaders authorize high-risk actions, policy changes and exceptions. Work escalates only when the lower layer cannot resolve it safely or when the approval model explicitly requires a person.
