Draw is Kaidera's self-hosted Excalidraw workspace. Sketch architecture, map processes, and collaborate with your team while every drawing stays connected to the project and saved in your secure file vault.

Draw gives every project a shared visual layer. It is where ideas become maps, diagrams become evidence, and workshops leave behind an editable record.
Kaidera uses Excalidraw as the drawing experience, then wraps it in the platform controls that business teams need: project access, vault storage, and controlled collaboration.
Excalidraw experience, Kaidera branded and integrated.
Editable drawings saved beside the project work.
Presence and edits shared through a stateless relay.
Tracks the active open-source Excalidraw release stream.
Draw is intentionally simple for users. The secure parts stay behind the scenes so teams can focus on explaining the work.
Choose a project diagram from the workbench. Draw opens with the same customer session and project scope.
Use familiar Excalidraw tools for architecture maps, process flows, planning boards, and workshop notes.
Team members join the same project room, see edits in real time, and keep the diagram aligned during review.
The drawing is saved back as a project-owned .excalidraw file in your secure Kaidera file vault.
Draw should feel like a normal whiteboard, but it should not create a shadow workspace. The source file remains a project artifact in Kaidera, ready for review, handoff, and future AI worker work.
Draw opens from the Kaidera workbench, inherits the user session, and follows the project access model.
The whiteboard does not become a separate content silo. Diagrams live beside the project files they explain.
The collaboration service coordinates live presence and edits. Persistent storage remains with the platform vault.

latest upstream release we are tracking
Excalidraw gives Draw its approachable hand-drawn canvas, export options, editable .excalidraw files, and collaboration-friendly drawing model. Kaidera adds the private project boundary around it.
The upstream Excalidraw project remains active. We track the public release stream and keep the Kaidera deployment upgradeable while preserving project authentication, branding, and vault integration.

Draw helps the team explain what was built. Live testing gives the finished work a temporary production-like space for review, demo, and approval.
