Homebrew and curl install the v0.1.237 community release and expose the kaidera-os CLI. Cortex remains the name of the included coordination and memory layer.

Requirements

→ Docker — runs the Cortex stack and app database
→ Python 3.11 or newer; Homebrew installs Python 3.12
→ A supported, separately installed CLI harness for AI execution
→ No commercial licence key or built-in provider credential is required

Update the community edition

Use the same public channel that installed Kaidera OS. Review the release notes before updating an active workspace.

The community source is licensed under AGPLv3 and excludes commercial trial, licence activation, Manifold activation, and built-in provider implementations. For the supported commercial edition, read the Linux installation guide, the macOS installation guide or contact Kaidera.
